The style of Sarah's work, with the accuracy, attention to detail and dynamism makes it particularly suitable for creating animal portrait sculptures.

To date she has recreated numerous dogs, horses and others including a Gloucester Old Spot pig. Most of her limited edition works are also based on actual animals.

She is equally happy to create busts, heads or complete animals of any size to the client's requirement.

Sarah prefers to meet the subject, to take numerous photographs and measurements, and to familiarise herself with the character. When a size and position is agreed, she will commence the model making.

During the model making process, the client is fully appraised of the progress either by visits or the sending of traditional or digital photographs. If necessary, Sarah will visit the subject again during this period.

The casting process will only commence once the client is fully satisfied with the model.

The duration Sarah requires to produce a commission is dependent on how busy both herself and her foundry are, but can take up to five months from meeting the subject to delivering the finished work.
